chomiji: Screen shot of my Flight Rising matriarch, Yarok (Flight Rising)

So I'm pretty excited to see the first "Mark II" elemental festival. I wasn't around for the first Brightshine Jubilee, though.

I'd be even more excited if I'd noticed/remember that it was happening and actually gone to Gather in Light this morning ... . :-(

As it is, I have only 8 Immaculate Tablets after grinding in Coli for about half an hour. There really aren't that many Light creatures in the lower levels where I can just go bam-bam-bam with my lvl 12-15 dragons ... Glowing Pocket Mice in Training Fields and Crowned Bone Priests in the Scorched Forest (and in the later, it often takes me several rounds to kills all the monsters).

The bear familiars are adorable! Are they all going to be bears this time? I can't remember the choices on the poll that was up for a while, except that one choice was more rugged-looking "masculine" sprites.

What I did last festival, although I don't know if it's actually cost-effective, was to alternate grinding in lower levels for festival currency with dragon-fighter-leveling sessions. It was boring as all get-out, but as a result I now have a L25 team for grinding. :]

The bears are indeed adorable! Because BEARS. :)

Oh! Grind in the training area - there are light Bumbles there that've been regularly dropping the tablets for me, and I've been one-shotting everything in there with my level 8s so it's fast going.

Yes, this: the Training Fields have Bumbles and Glowing Pocket Mice that drop at 40% chance each, and the neutral Amaranth Moth that drops at 25% chance.

Powergaming seems to be the best when grinding for festival currency, since you want the Stuff more than the points.

Though The Arena is far and away the best level - it has 3 neutral opponents and 2 light, making 5 monsters that can drop festival currency and skins, you should be fine with the next best levels, a tie between 1-3, 9-10, and 11-12, each with one neutral and two light monsters.

7-8, 13-14, 15-16, 19-20, 21-22, and 23-24 each have one neutral and one light monster.

Level 4-6 has NO light monsters, and only one neutral.

How does that stuff get calculated? Do the devs release it someplace unknown to me or are there literally people testing the game long enough to figure it out reliably??

I'm not sure which one it is that produced that number. I just remember reading it on the forum last month somewhere, and forgot the rest of the conversation. (although now I mention it, a niggling possible-memory wants to say it was a dev who said it? I could be wrong!)

There's a Coli guide somewhere in the Guides forum in which someone actually did test the game long enough to calculate drop rates for stuff. I do not have the patience for that!

*boggles* that is amazing. I wouldn't have the patience for it either - heck I hardly have the patience to use the guides!!
