"Your" colors?

Does anyone else have a set or a range of dragon colors that they feel particularly represents their lair?



I mean, for me it's kind of obvious:



... I just have to be sad forever that nobody else on the site seems to like maroon tiger as much as I do, I suppose.

If I had the ability, I think I would fill my entire lair with maroon tiger/silver-range seraph/silver-range tert dragons. I'm picky about what primaries I like with maroon, too; I've replaced at least two iridescent dragons with tiger already. The only reason I haven't done more tiger-striping is that I'm waiting for bar to come out already to see if I like it.

So is anyone else out there married to a color range, or is it more "I know it when I see it"? Or do your project dragons all come out very individually?

I'm all over the board, colorwise, although will admit that I'm very, very partial to irishim. I guess I lean more towards purples, blues and greens?

I do really like looking at tightly-themed lairs, though.

For me, it's also quite obvious: ALL THE GREENS. XD I think at this point, every dragon I own has some green somewhere? Even the festival dragons have green combined with the color of the flight they are associated with.

Hee, I may have given the impression that my lair is more tightly themed than it is. I just definitely have a recurring pattern. But I'm no Sunshine.

Irishim is lovely! I have a few irishim pairs. I just wish I liked it better on maroon. :(

Asides from my Homestuck dragons (all grey + the character's colour) I have a couple of colour combinations I really like and have to stop myself filling my lair with: reds with yellow terts, blues and greens with lemon tert, irishim red and green, obsidian with teal tert, irishim white/blue skydancers. So of these suit lightning eyes and some...kind of don't :/

I am as much a magpie about colors as I am about everything else, but I really do have a weakness for red dragons, even if I try not to buy them too frequently. xD (Also OH MAN, I just exalted a gorgeous maroon tiger/maroon seraph/crimson crackle pearlcatcher boy after 3 weeks of dithering-- wish I'd known you liked that range, I could have sent him your way instead!)

I have lots of blues, both pale and dark, and dark purples, but also orange/fire, and some crimson. And some black/obsidian/midnight types. And some gold. It's the intense colors that get to me.

I have a weakness for fire-colored dragons, especially with yellowy terts. :)

OMG I have so many goldish-pinkish-orangish sunset dragons. (And ahaha, the last two on the page that look different are... only there for a breeding project. Go fig.)
