Who was an X-Files fan?

Good... evening? Morning? An allergy attack woke me up at 1:30 AM, so while I wait for my Benadryl to kick in, I'm going to post about frivolous stuff, like my dragons named after X-Files episodes.


Meet Tunguska and Terma:










I won Tunguska as an all-basic hatchling during my first week on the site. At the time I had a naming theme going of archeological sites, and Tunguska was a bit of a stretch for the theme, but I thought she looked spooky and destructive so it worked for me.

It wasn't until I paired her with the Shadow sprite that I made the connection with the black oil aliens from TXF, who were introduced in the episode "Tunguska". At that point I knew I would someday have to get a "Terma" for her (the other half of the two-parter). She had another mate for months (the best wildclaw I could afford at the time) who was just not worthy of the name, so I held onto it. But I finally exalted him this week and got her a fitting partner, black oil and all!

I am ridiculously pleased by this. *g*
