first hatching!
Nov. 23rd, 2014 07:26 pmAll four are boys, which is great for me! The only wing options from this pair were ivory and banana, and I was relieved to get mostly ivory as banana is a bit much for my sensibilities.

Midnight/Ivory/Midnight --> actually sort of bad ass.

Shadow/Banana/Midnight didn't look quite as sophisticated, but I bought a Seraph gene for someone else and didn't like it after all, and now he is also pretty rad.

Silver/Ivory/Mulberry. Maybe with some cool gene scrolls he will be nifty.
And then there is this little guy...

MAGENTA, folks. Magenta and mulberry. Yup. I'm not sure anything can be done other than snickering every time I see him. Maybe he'll grow up to own his fabulousness.

Date: 2014-11-24 04:50 pm (UTC)Yeah, the banana + seraph looks pretty great actually. I'm prepared to believe there are other good applications, it's just very glaring in basic against the black and dark gray primary. (Or, like in their dad, against mulberry.)

Date: 2014-11-24 11:35 pm (UTC)Here are some of my banana dragons:
Apollo here (the father of the dragon I gave you) is Ivory/Banana/Banana:
If he were triple banana, he'd be blindingly bright, but the ivory tones the banana down some, so instead he's just bright and sunshine-y under the armor. (The accent actually makes him look brighter than he is.)
Jellal is tomato/banana/banana, which is a fairly stark contrast, and the tomato can also be blinding, but the combination and calmer tert gene just makes him bright and cheerful:
Sheeta is banana/brown/beige, and the banana is mostly hidden by the cloak, but the genes and color combination make the banana look a little closer to the brown-range spectrum than the yellow, so she looks a little more sandy/earthy that you'd think banana would be:
Kyo is Banana/Magenta/Ivory. I really don't know how, but the ivory circuit calms both the banana and magenta down a lot:
