Don't know why people seem to want to pay less for Nocs … I mean, I don't think they're as pretty as Imps, myself, but I thought more people would be after them because they're still the newest breed.

I'm pretty much resigned to not being able to sell the offspring of a number of my pairs, but trendy things can sell. CryFace is the new IriShim, and Vipera/Hypnotic are still salable to some degree. Even Okapi is newish enough sometimes: I sold 3 out of 4 of my last Okapi nestlings (WCs and Imps). I do try hard to go for flashy colors (saturated brights - I don't do pastels), but these midnight/blues, which are much more subtle, have always sold well. Shipat / Shikshokh are my sales leader breeders. The most fun is seeing what lovely names people give the Sh/Sh children.

If I'm willing to flack things a bit, I can typically get rid of 1 to 3 in each nest. I post them on the Nature sales thread after I have let you all have first crack. Then, after the initial 3-day sales period is over, I use my 2 hatchery posts in the general dragon sales forum. I advertise as "sale prices" or "25% off" or whatever, and I usually don't go below 18 KT, so only really dedicated train/Exalt people buy them for that purpose. I "bump" my threads as often as I can for a day or so, and if they don't sell after that, I Exalt.

In light of your news, though, I won't bother with a second sales period for the Okapi kids. :-)

And I will hold off Exalting my random fodder dragons who are getting more than a week old until Sunday. (I don't end up spending much time in our clan forum, truth be told, so thanks for telling me!)

Interesting! I admit I am lazy about sales - I just throw them at the AH for a couple of rounds. Perhaps I should join in the Nature sales forum sometimes.

The dom push before last, there was a cool raffle that you got tickets for by tracking your exalts in a spreadsheet. That was interesting enough to get me invested, so I've been keeping an eye on the dom push thread since then.
