chomiji: Screen shot of my Flight Rising matriarch, Yarok (Flight Rising)

So there was an adorkable little Avocado Iridescent / Green Shimmer / Leaf Crackle tundra for sale in AU, and I left her during dinner, and by the time I got back, someone else had bought her.

*sigh*

I am once again at the point where I need to either save up to expand my lair again (a pricey proposition at this level) or Exalt some long-timers. I feel very guilty when I do that, and even more so if they are dragons I got from friends.

I also had my first single-egg nest. I was so spoiled, yes.

On the plus side, all my beloved dragons who had striped wings, which I decided that I didn't want anymore, now have either eye spot or seraph wings (shimmer just costs too damn much). And I am thinking about officially signing up with the Neon Wings people, although their rules get pretty arcane once you're past the basic level.

I like to think of it as retirement. When a dragon has nested a lot of hatchlings, or fought a lot of coli battles, they've earned their rest and their descendants can take over. I only hesitate if I'm exalting a dragon who's never been bred, or hasn't produced any offspring I'm satisfied with.

The shiny is very distracting. I'm always buying new dragons and forgetting all the breeding pairs I already have.
