Favorite Breeds (Underappreciated Breeds)
Mar. 7th, 2014 10:31 amIn honor of server turnover maintenance, two of my most recent acquisitions:

Ridgie and wildclaw, only a few days apart, both in green and gold and triple-gened to boot.
I wouldn't say that ridgebacks are an unappreciated breed, but there certainly seem to be fewer of them compared to spirals or pearlies. I'm always wanting to buy more ridgies and snappers, and there never seem to be quite enough. Specifically with the ridgebacks, I think they tend to blues and purples and blacks even more than the general population. That might be why I'm always looking for them, because I only take an interest in warm colors. My first ridgeback was tomato-colored.
Of course my all-time favorite is tundra. Not one of the most popular breeds, I think, but tundra-lovers are a vocal lot.
