Random dragon headcanons?
Jun. 5th, 2014 09:42 amI'm not really much of an RPer, and I can't say all of my dragons have characters or backstories, but there are a few in my lair that seem to have sprouted personalities.

Her black steampunk apparel actually looks a lot like motorcycle gear! She's the no-nonsense, taciturn sort who likes going very fast.

This one, on the other hand, is a complete Romantic (capital R intended) and loves running (flying?) to the fog-shrouded moors with impractical frilly apparel.
Meanwhile, my Coli team (consisting of my two progenitors and one of the first dragons I received in a giveaway) have somehow formed a sedoretu with a fourth Guardian. He's the only one of the four who's not at level 25, but they have adopted him anyway. They all wear fedoras and have either scars, bloody bandages or armor for apparel. I kind of thought they'd be the dragon mafia of my lair, but surprisingly, they seem more social and laidback, possibly due to the long hours in the Coli, grinding for festival currency or leveling up other dragons.
Has anyone else ended up forming random headcanons for long-time denizens of their lairs?

Her mate is Quest (named after the campus newspaper), who mainly hangs out in the quad with a drum circle with Woodstock and whoever else wanders by.
And this is Abbington. While McGriffley is the leader of the clan, Abby is the one who organizes everything and gets stuff done.

Date: 2014-06-09 12:53 am (UTC)Um, OK. To begin with, as some of y'all have figured out, my dragons are named in Hebrew. The original and green-range ones have plant names (either varieties of plants or parts of plants etc.), and the Neon Wings ones have astrological or astronomical or weather-related names
Korach, my male progenitor, was a bit of a joke to begin with. By sheer accident (I knew nothing of how the breeding worked), I picked a really good color combo for my first dragon, Yarok, because I made her basically XYX in shades of green. So Korach was XYX too ... in pink and blood red. D-:
After trying and failing to get him to throw any hatchlings that weren't butt-ugly, I stopped breeding him. But I hated the idea that he wasn't involved in the daily life of the clan. So he's not only my highest-level Coli magic dragon, but I have decided that he is also the clan's religious leader — our Gladekeeper's Friend — and teacher, and have chosen his apparel (and more recently a skin ... wow, did it take me a long time to think of that!) with that role in mind:
All the hatchlings love Korach because he is so gentle and such a good storyteller.
Gilia is my bomb lady. She is strong and fierce in the arena and excellent at teaching the arts of combat. Yarok got her the ocean skin because her attacks are as irresistable as the ocean:
Tsemakh is our wildest magician. He's terribly handsome, vain, and eccentric. He has fathered some beautiful dragons and is competent in the Coli:
Pardess is our princess, and every bit the daughter of her father Tsemakh. All the breeding-oriented male dragons admire her exceedingly. She has a sweet nature but is a bit spoiled:
(I have more, actually, but I think this is enough for now ... .)
