I don't think queued posting works yet, but I could be wrong - setting the date is just cosmetic, for communities, I think, but in personal journals it determines where it shows up (so if I dated something three days ago it'd show up before something I posted yesterday but after something I posted a week ago).

I wonder how many of us there'll be, actually. The highest userid right now is 82503; about a month ago when I was wondering if they were even going to open registration in this calendar year, I did some URL manipulation (typing in different numbers for the userid, not anything exciting) and came up with an estimate of 19,700 new users in June (which works out to 13.7 registrations a minute, which must be terrifying for whoever's monitoring the servers).

Anyone want to hazard a guess about the number of new users this time?

The servers are... struggling valiantly? It took me ten tries to successfully register? But I did make it, in the end, and got exactly what I would have wanted in a random progenitor, so I'm pretty happy right now :D
