Registration is so exciting!

Does anyone else feel like looking at all the new progenitors through search and picking out the nicest-looking pairs? I'm sort of tempted to send some newbies random friend requests. But I think that might be weird/offputting.

I sort of regret exalting both my progens before I realized that you could breed-change and gene them up and stuff. Oh well.

I exalted my progens as well, and no longer even remember their terts. *sigh*

Aww, that's sad. Especially since building a dragon from the ground up is one of the great joys of FR. For me, at least.

Yeah, people might feel shy. Does your flight have a thread for giving away stuff to the neophytes? You could get to know some of them there.

I've been giving away rusted iron chests. Not worth much to most players, but they're fun and can be a real boon for newbies. And I had a huge stack of them just sitting around doing nothing.

What I like to do later in the week is buy some of the first hatchies from new members, and eventually gene them up. It can be frustrating, to be excited about your first nest of dragons and have the rest of the site be like "Ho hum, more basic starters..."

Oh, gorgeous! I'm actually super excited about hatching day because I've been looking for good gen two dragons for ages and they are such a PITA to find. And yes, I will likely gene them up, too. I also have a Skydancer scroll sitting around, hmmm....
