I got the only festival thing I wanted (the bear), and since then I've used shrooms to buy an Ambush (50 shrooms!) and an Autumn Breeze (25 shrooms!) so I'm enjoying it!

You can also buy additional festival favors and hang on to them to sell later, especially the familiars and the apparel". It's amazing how much people will pay for them several months down the road!

The special apparel item is pretty creepy, I admit. I put it on my male senior combat dragon: I figure he can keep it in line.

(Silly newbie question) Where can you get ambush and such with mushrooms? When I check the stall there's only the four festival items. Thanks.

I'm not sure how se did it! Maybe two steps: sell the holiday favors on AH, then buy the goodies with the proceeds?

My guess would be the "Items for Sale" forum -- there's always lots of trading of various forms of currency & desirable objects there.

I traded them with somebody in my flight's IRC channel for the Ambush, and then I traded them with somebody in my flight's sales forum for the Autumn Breeze. Sorry for getting your hopes up!

Yeah, somehow I always forget the "social" part of the game! (Who, me introvert?) Even though make use of my flight's private forum for dragon sales ... I also donate to our flight's food pantry, which is a pretty cool concept. I just sent them a bunch of "fallout" from my holiday grinding.
