New and shiny!

My luck seems to be in today (he says, knocking on wood), and I gatherd 19 strange chests in 25 turns. The second chest I opened had a Nocturne egg in it! and a bear familiar!

But....

He's pink...

Well, he's kinda cute? But, yeah, nocturnal-looking he is not. I got one of the Jawlocker familiars.

Aww, I think he's really cute. Tert's not great but at least his primary and secondary go together. I can understand if you're not into pink, though.

Only one egg out of 19 chests? Now I'm eyeing my 22 from today with worry... I hope they'll unseal today so I can look inside.

Oh, I only managed to open 2 before they sealed them. I'm hopeful the rest will have at least on more egg.

Before they sealed the chests, I opened 8 with no eggs or scrolls, and my daughter opened 18 with no eggs or scrolls, so they're definitely on the rare side!

I thought I was lucky after scoring 22 chests from digging this morning. By the time the coli crashed, I managed to get 45 chests total.

However, after opening them all, I got one egg and one bear familiar. I'm thankful, though, since I've heard of people opening 100+ chests with nothing to show for it. I think I'm going to try to trade this girl, though.

Sadness, I have zero chests after using up all 25 gathering turns. I hope RNG will be kinder to me tomorrow...

I've had maybe 30 chests and so far one bear familiar.

What venues have people been finding the mimics? I have so far only seen them in the Scorched Forest. No mimics seen so far in the Forgotten Cave or the Sandswept Delta.

Still investigating, but so far I've found a "Jawlocker" mimic in the Kelp Beds, about as tough as a Mammertee.

"Snarling Mimic" in Woodland Path and Scorched Forest
"Ectoplasmime" in Underground Waterway and Arena
"Jawlocker" in Kelp Beds and Golem Workshop (doesn't seem to drop Mimic Powder item)

Another 35 chests this morning: no egg, 1 livewire grizzly, 2 snarling mimic familiars.

I have had around 60 chests with mainly flounder. No eggs. At least the lithops make me happy every time. :)

Huh. I got my egg on my first try scavenging, and then about ten chests from two days of digging.

Ohhhh nooooo he's so perfect though! Except for that tert... which is a shame.

Yeah, that tert. Especially when I was considering circuit for him. :-/
I managed to find someone to trade him to, and got a neutral-ish girl instead.
