purposeful breeding

I hatched the first babies with a look I set out to create today! Turns out I really like Seraph, so I have a little breeding project for dark primary/tertiary colors and Seraph wings. They're cute and I'm pleased, but I begin to wonder... what do people do with all these dragons once they get them looking like they want?

I usually fill up my entire lair and then sit around feeling sheepish.

Ha! That sounds like where I'm headed, all right.

Actually, one thing I do is start up projects, just to keep myself focused. I'm trying to make a maroon/x/y first-gen breeding pair for all the breeds I like--I've got coatls, nocturnes, and wildclaws so far because they're rarer, but I'm hoping to work my way down to others. And I've got a set of dragons I've been dressing up and naming after muses, so that's a fun project.

But yeah, mostly... breed dragons and fill up my lair.

Yeah, me too. One thing I've learned for sure, everyone's looking for something else in dragons.
